Driver Helper Review – Best Driver Update Software

Driver Helper is one of the best driver update software from highly reputable Uniblue Systems. Although not as highly regarded as Uniblue’s other software products, Driver Helper still has quite a few things going for it. Driver Helper shares the same sleek look as other Uniblue products and hits the mark for easy to use and fast driver update software.

The features that Driver Helper offers are a bit on the Spartan side of the scale. It does not have the commonly packaged driver backup feature nor does it offer driver restore and uninstall for drivers. It only offers straight up driver scan and update, which is really the most essential part of a driver update software product. Having those extra features, though, would have made Driver Helper a top of the line driver update software. As for now, it only offers a download log of drivers, exclude drivers from a scan and system restore in its repertoire. It doesn’t give you a lot to fiddle with but what it does have is high quality performance. Its scan turns up few false warnings for outdated drivers and a lot of data and information that you don’t normally see with other driver update software scans. When the scan recommendations are followed, noticeable performance improvement can be expected.

Due to its simplicity and streamlined design, Driver Helper can make up for the bare bones approach with the ease in which you can use its features. You can appreciate how the look is designed to keep the focus on the job at hand but does not sacrifice that sleek look of most Uniblue products.

The best thing about Driver Helper is that it is relatively new. That means that subsequent version of Driver Helper will be able to build on the numerous positives that the current product offers and then address some of the negatives. With a few more features and a maintenance of the quality of its product, Driver Helper can be a contender for the best of its kind.
