What is WinAntiVirus Pro and related “Win” software?

I would like to know if this software is reliable, and if so, the company affiliation — which company owns “WinAntiVirus Pro.” I have had many pop-ups on my screen under the title “Internet Explorer.” When I delete the pop-up, I am led to more windows advertising WinAntiVirus Pro.

WinAntiVirus is not affiliated to Windows or Microsoft. If you downloaded if after seeing a pop-up for it, then you have spyware. Remove it as soon as possible. Go to http://www.download.com and download AVG Free Edition for the mean time untill you can buy Norton or McAfee.
